Opening hours of the permanent exhibitions:
Every Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m.
Admission is free, donations are welcome.
Groups or school classes wishing to visit the exhibition outside of regular opening hours are welcome to make an appointment for a guided tour (also possible in English). Just call or email us and we will try to make it happen.
Please note: The timeline with a fragmentary overview of the prison’s history as well as the exhibition on inscriptions of people in police custody and immigration detention in Klapperfeld are accessible in both English and German on site. The exhibition on the history of the former police prison and its use during National Socialism is so far only available in German on site, while it is accessible in English here on this website.
